The Central Venue League is run by the Eagles Community Foundation in partnership with Centre for Sport. Each Saturday the league runs U12, U14, U16 and U18 divisions with a girl's only league on a Sunday. Congratulations to Cardinal Hornets who won the U14 CVL league after one of the closest finishes in CVL history.

As a result of the U18 Cardinal Hornets team pulling out of the league all fixtures that had been played have now been removed from the table.

The U12s fixtures are now available to download on the right hand side of this page.

On the 2nd last week of CVL the U18s fixtures will remain the same except they will be played in a different order. This is to ensure that all teams playing more than 1 game do not play back to back games. The fixtures have been updated on the right hand side of this page.

This weeks U12 fixtures will remain the same but after that the fixtures have been altered. Please find on the right hand side the download for the new fixtures.

Anybody found misusing the 'Contact Us' section of this website to make unneccesary comments about coaches, officials or players will receive a ban from the CVL. Anybody who has a grievance about any staff at CVL must go through the official procedures that can be found in the Code of Conduct document on the right hand side of the home page.

Congratulations to Whickham Hurricanes who were crowned Champions of the U12's GLeague with Hebburn and Jarrow Diamonds coming in as runners up.

Girls League results have been updated on the website with Newcastle East Griffins top of the table in the under 12's G - League and Gateshead Storm are top of the table in the open G - League.

Congratulations to Westgate Hoopstars girls who have swept the board in both the Girls leagues. The under 12's won their league and in the open league Westgate B team triumphed with the A team coming in at second place!

Congratulations goes out again to Team Phoenix who have made it 4 in a row as they beat Morpeth in the play-off finals. They also came in a respectable 2nd in Division 3 but that was clinched by an awesome Newcastle East Griffins squad.

Congratulations to Team Phoenix who have won the Division 1 League, Division 2 League and Division 2 play-offs. Can they make it 4 in a row as they take on Morpeth in Division 1 play-off final on Saturday.

Did you know that the CVL celebrated its 6th Birthday!! The league initially started with only 4 teams; Westgate Hoopstars, Benfield, John Spence and Morpeth.
